Photos of the Veil nebula usually focus on the prominent, brighter sectons (East & West Veil, Flemings whisp), and even widefield images often clip or fail to adequately capture the loop in the "tail". I devoted two nights to iaging this neglected part, aiming to bring out the faint link that completes a loop in the tail

Taking advantage of a rare few clear nights (June gloom marine layer clouds...) to do some easy narrowband, widefield imaging at home with my RedCat51.

Mostly cloudy nights at home, but a couple of chances to get new star clusters, and a first emisson nebula as the Milky Way is beginning to rise late in the night.
